The Golden Night

This piece of work definitely caught my eye when I saw it. As a sky lover, I think this artist was in the right place at the right time to capture this amazing photograph. The gradient from a yellow-orange color to a purple like color of the sky combined with the perfect positioning of the clouds made this picture, and the ground and buildings only added to the complete image. I especially like how the sky is reflected off of the building to the right. Because the ground is not even and instead seems to dip in the middle, it gives the image a sense of motion. How the clouds dissipate as they near the top of the image also adds to this sense of motion. Finally, the fact that this image is a square that has a white border finishes the image by giving it a feeling of completion. Overall, I really like this shot and wish I could have been there with you!
